Tuff Wheel leather horn pad trim bases

These T7075 machined billet aluminum reproductions replace the often delaminated, peeling, chipped original ABS plastic and chrome plated originals. These trim bases are made within .010" of all original dimensions, compromises had to be made (.010") in order for one ring to fit both earlier and late versions of the originals.

These trim bases have both the riveted and twist tab mounting features so they work for the early and late version leather pads.

The aluminum can easily be polished to whatever brilliance you desire. These billet rings will never delaminate, peel, or chip like the originals.  See the attached photos for comparison to the originals.  Click on any thumbnail for a larger image.

TuffWheelRestoration.com can also re-dye your leather pad so it will have a new appearance to match your new trim base. Colors of the leather pad can be changed. Send us your leather pad and we will dye it and mount it free of charge with a purchase of the new trim base.

Note the examples shown in the photos were not polished, they are shown as they existed when taken off the machine. Polishing can easily be done to whatever brilliance you desire.
